To use an aneroid blood pressure cuff, seat the person comfortably with their arm at heart level. Wrap the cuff snugly above the elbow, position the stethoscope over the brachial pulse, and inflate the cuff to 20-30 mmHg above expected systolic pressure. Slowly deflate the cuff, noting the first sound (systolic) and when it disappears (diastolic). Record the reading and store the equipment properly.
